Following the success of TOLSTOJ’S LANTERNS, BLU KOBALTO realised a series of Murano glass paintings depicting subjects selected by the poet Tonino Guerra.
During the realisation of this project, and by experimenting, we developed a new combined technique. By mixing traditional painting and metallic powder we achieved a special effect. On the one hand, the golden and silver strokes gave the painting a precious air, whereas on the other hand, the glass details, slightly in relief, made them brighter.
