Blu Kobalto forges a vast collection that tinges the most disparate niches of a home with transparency, from the extremely modern crystalline statues to the glass paintings that freeze the image with a few velvety strokes, from the fragile structures of “Fossili” (Fossils) to the more complex, full relief design works.
The “Donna” (Woman) receives the sinuous contours of a curved line and from the pleasant flow of her feminine profile, the sinuous stroke offers the sweet sensation of ancient Botticellian beauties, that prototype that renders the womanly body the finest example of creation.
The sight of the “Donna’s” soft forms turns Blu Kobalto’s creation into a pleasant moment of wellbeing from which you can draw peace and tranquillity and escape our stormy daily life. It conquers us, if only for a few seconds, with the softness of a line that slowly traces a silhouette.
Claudia’s delicate sculpture celebrates the double essence of every woman, even more decidedly in “Lei” (She), playing on the transparency of the ethereal white glass, with mixed shades of ochre and the decisive, intricate depths of darker hues.
It is the double nature of a woman’s being: on one hand romanticism, certainty and vital strength in the vivid white ornate with floral motifs; on the other hand, the complicated world of I-woman, the restlessness of a continuously moving intelligence that paces behind the apparent tranquillity that a woman purposefully represents.
These soft forms, the extraordinary strength and the marvellous contradictions belonging to the feminine soul, are apprehended, almost as if they were caught in a mirror, in the splendid glass pictures.
“Essere” (Being) is the emblem of this magical encounter of voluptuous curves, loud colours like passionate red and the shimmer of the medium used, which recalls Anton Gaudì’s colourful ceramics when he used red on white on the walls of the Park Guell in Barcelona.
The fragility of the whole becomes tangible and manifest in the “Fossili” series, whose thin veins, together with the extreme delicacy and grace of the raw material, contribute to make Blu Kobalto’s atelier is an unusual artistic world, where crystalline objects are filled with a precise, vital message that we are called to remember in our daily routine: the fleeting nature of objective reality urges us to enjoy to the full, the multi-coloured possibilities of life.
